About

Newcastle is a rapidly developing part of Oklahoma City that combines urban conveniences with a small-town lifestyle. The city of slightly more than 10,000 people is situated just south of the OKC metro region and is the county seat of McClain County. It is one of the most desired and appealing cities in the state to conduct business and live in.

The town was founded in 1894 as part of the Chickasaw Nation in Indian Territory. Newcastle, formerly a flourishing dairy country, has evolved into a rural suburban hotspot thanks to top-rated schools, low crime rates, peaceful streets, and lots of activities. The Chickasaw Nation still has a significant commercial presence in the region.

The Newcastle Public School System has received state and national recognition for outstanding instructors and educational initiatives. Within 30 minutes, there are over 20 two- and four-year colleges, including the University of Oklahoma. Newcastle’s developments are a mix of old and contemporary, ranging from farmland and ranches to modern new homes. The cost of living is 17% lower than the national average.
